New York City Restaurant Week
It’s that time of the year again, the winter edition of New York City Restaurant week is back! What a great time to try a new restaurant or get a fabulous price at an old stand-by.
This year, over 200 restaurants are participating in the bi-annual event. Here is my short list of notables:
- Tom Colicchio’s restaurant, Craft, rose to national fame when Colicchio began work on Top Chef. The food is superb.
- Mesa Grill, Southwest food brought to you by Bobby Flay (of Food Network fame and glory)
- Nobu offers a little slice of Hollywood in New York City. Try the Shrimp Tempura– it’s fab!
- Co-owned by Robert De Niro, Tribeca Grill has great ambiance, from the high ceilings to the exposed brick.
- Tavern on the Green in Central Park is, even after all of these years, still beautiful and notable.
