With just over a month until Sex and the City: The Movie hits the theaters, I have a little something to tide you over; the newest, longer, and better, Sex and the City trailer has hit the web.

Hey Heather, thanks for sharing that. My wife got me into watching that show a few years back and I came to enjoy some of the episodes.
I’m sure the movie will be a big hit because of all the fans but it doesn’t look very good from the trailer. What are your thoughts?
I can’t believe I’m asking about this, I’m a guy! lol
Thanks for your thoughts, Alex. Yeah, I never had you pegged as a Sex and the City fan.
I will share my favorite part of the trailer:
CARRIE: Why did you move to New York?
JENNIFER HUDSON’S CHARACTER: To fall in love.
That short 5 second clip of the trailer had my friends and I laughing so hard. We really hope she was referring to falling in love with the city, falling in love with shopping, falling in love with herself, etc. Not with another person!
Nobody goes to New York to “fall in love.” You move to New York because you’ve been stung by love, you’re bitter, and you want to be in a city where you will never see the same person twice.
Most of my friends and I all had to “import” our boyfriends and husbands from from Boston, San Diego, Rio, etc. That was just one more thing that should remind us all how far-fetched the movies really are!
lol, that’s an excellent point-that bit doesn’t make much sense.
I suppose I came to enjoy some episodes because I appreciate different types of comedy, liked watching the girlie insight, throw in some occasional nudity, and yeah not bad, hehe
I thought the the trailer was good and hope it doesn’t show all the good parts of the movie as some trailers do.
I’ve also come to enjoy the series late (never got HBO and had to wait for reruns) and would like to see the movie although it probably won’t get to Japan until much later that it open in the US. I will have the advantage of hearing all the reviews before deciding whether to spend 18 bucks, yep the $18, to see the movie in Japan!
$18! That’s outrageous! There are some theaters in New York that charge $15, so I’m afraid we’ll hit the $18 mark soon.
Movie costs have gotten so outrageous some New Yorkers (not me) hit Canal Street for pirated copies of movies a day or so after it hits theaters.
