Lincoln Center Tree Lighting

The 18th annual Lincoln Center Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place Monday night at Lincoln Center Plaza. The ceremony will feature excerpts from New York City Ballet’s production The Nutcracker as well as excerpts from the Metropolitan Opera’s Hansel and Gretel. This year’s tree is a 50′, 7.5-ton Colorado Blue Spruce.

Getting There: Local 1 train to 66th Street/Lincoln Center Station

Time: 5:30 pm Tree lighting

At 5 pm, NYCB corps de ballet member Kyle Froman will be autographing copies of his new book, In the Wings. Also at 5 pm, the first 500 children to visit the tree care center on the inner drive will receive their own tree saplings for planting.
